The challenge

A roof-mounted awning has to look like it came with the vehicle, hold up to highway wind and weather, and build from aluminium sections you can extrude.

Our approach

We surfaced a curved deflector that sits cleanly on the roofline, then engineered the mechanism and the aluminium system behind it. The shape got refined against the airflow and the packaging.
