A reclining lounger where the mechanism and the form are one
Mechanism and formWorked out together
Load-testedPrototype-proven
Holds its lineIn any position
The challenge

A recliner stands or falls on the mechanism. It has to move smoothly, lock safely, carry the load, and then vanish into a shape that still looks light.

Our approach

We developed the recline mechanism and the lounger shape together, tuning the linkage and the load paths while keeping the silhouette clean. Prototypes proved out the motion and the comfort before we froze the design.

The outcome

A lounger that reclines smoothly on a mechanism built for the load, in a shape that keeps its line whether it is upright or laid back.

FAQ

Questions, answered

The things teams usually ask before they start.

Can we hire you for just one part of a project?

Yes. Take a single discipline - say industrial design or simulation - or hand over the whole product from concept to production. We work both ways.

Do you work with startups or only established companies?

Both. We have taken first-time founders to investor- and regulator-ready devices, and helped OEMs and product teams ship new lines.

Can you take a product all the way to manufacturing?

Yes. We handle design for manufacturing, vendor identification and audits, and pilot runs into volume production.

Where are you based, and do you work remotely?

We are in Bengaluru with the whole team in one place, and we work with clients across India and abroad.

How do projects usually start?

With a short conversation about where you are. A sketch, a spec, or a rough prototype is more than enough to begin.

Have a product in mind? Tell us where you are. A sketch, a spec, or a prototype that is not quite working. We will tell you how we would take it forward.
